The Center of Mosque Studies - Prayers, if observed with modesty and mind-presence, will lead the society to virtue and resistance, said the Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in his message to the Muslim prayers (Namaz) conference on Wednesday.
'A big part of problems is due to ignoring this admonitory fact; therefore, promoting prayers with all effective methods is among significant duties that everyone should do,' the message by Iran's Supreme Leader read.
He also urged the schools to hold prayers in order to help the virtue in society.
The 27th national conference on Muslim prayers (Namaz) started in Semnan on Wednesday with Ayatollah Khamenei's message.
Namaz or Muslims prayers, is one of the Five Pillars in the faith of Islam and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim. It is a physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times.
Provincial officials from different parts of the country as well as 1,600 guests are present in the Namaz conference underway in Semnan the provincial capital of the north central Iranian province.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani along with a number his cabinet members have also attended the day-long prayers conference to deliver a speech.
