This mosque is located in south side of Talebieh School and west side of Jame Mosque. It is famous as Sheikhieh Mosque also. The hall of this mosque size is 60m*25m which contains fifty four domes and forty dark blue columns!
All the columns are prismatic and ten-sided shaped that its carving work is one of masterpieces of architecture… all round of the mosque are designed with some arches and royal porches. Its interior design contains calligraphy works which the various Hadis and verses of Quran are observable in these works. In the west side of this mosque, a winter mosque is built which has ten stone columns. This mosque is constructed in 1235-40 Hijri-Qamari by Molla Mohammad Mamaghani who was the chief of Sheikhieh and was nominated Hojatol-Islam. That’s why the mosque also was nominated as Hojat-al-Islam…
