This mosque is located in in Abol Maali district which is one of the oldest areas of Yazd city. Cause of nominating the mosque as Abol Maali, backs to Khajej Abol Maali Bin Borhan-Al-Din Lotfollah or Khajeh Haji Abol Maali whom both of them had been belonged to 8th Hijri Century. There are two mosques in this district, small and big. There is a gate which its plinth is designed with Shams Solhi Tiles. There are some square tiles as stalactite installed on this dark blue background. The small mosque is constructed on a water reservoir.
