This historical mosque is located in center of Khoy City and beside of the old bazaar. According to available evidences the main building of this mosque was constructed in Ilkhani era. But probably because of natural disasters it had been destructed. Then in Ghajar era it was constructed again.
This grand square building includes a grand and open hall, two floors chambers, huge balcony and a vast yard. The upper part of Mehrab and entrance of the hall is designed with tore work. Inner parts of balcony and its entrances are designed with permute of bricks. This building is one of historical national treasures and heritages of Azerbaijan province.
